Business Analyst - Workday experience - Manchester - Hybrid - FTC - £55,000
My client near Manchester is looking for a Business Analyst initially on a fixed term contract then going permanent.
To be supporting a Workday implementation that has recently gone live on more BAU activities. Responsibilities include:
1. Requirements traceability and stakeholder management.
2. Building proper transparent relationships with the business to ensure Workday is rolled out effectively.
3. Serving as a subject matter expert for the relevant business solution.
4. Understanding current business processes, identifying potential for refinement and improvement.
5. Championing the importance of business process reengineering to maximize system and process efficiency.
6. Acting as a conduit between the Transformation Lead, the IT team, and third-party technical teams to maximize functionality throughout the design phase.
7. Objectively assessing that design decisions meet the expected outcomes of the business case.
8. Documenting all requirements, User Stories, and acceptance criteria for review and approval by the Transformation Lead.
9. Updating existing business process diagrams and creating new ones where needed.
10. Working closely with the Test Manager to ensure all User Stories are translated into test scripts.
11. Supporting the Transformation Lead with business acceptance testing.
12. Fully documenting all business processes for wider business consumption, engagement, and training.
13. Supporting the effective completion of UAT via area SMEs, ensuring all colleagues are prepared and confident in the process.
14. Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with vendors.
Performance Measure Indicators:
1. User Stories and test scripts accurately reflect business requirements set out by the Transformation Lead.
2. Effective contribution to business-wide implementation and change plans.
3. Transformation Lead provided with all relevant insight, technical translation, and support to make decisions.
Requirements:
* Experience of following agile project delivery methods (desirable).
* A keen advocate of the benefits of business process reengineering to establish greatest business value.
* Great communication skills with the ability to foster positive, collaborative relationships with colleagues at all levels.
* Ability to read and adapt to organization culture.
* Ability to challenge at all levels with confidence and integrity.
