We are currently looking for a Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist, who can provide overall support for the clinical leadership of the service. This post is based in London, which is easily accessible via public transport.
About the role:
As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will support educational and residential colleagues to provide therapeutic living and learning environments and, based on clinical assessment and formulation, offer individualised interventions and engagement to our young people.
Your main responsibilities as a Speech and Language Therapist:

* Have knowledge of evidence-based ‘best practice’ approaches to support children and young people who experience Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN) as part of their wider SEMH challenges, at an individual, group and whole school level.
* Take a child-centred approach working directly with a range of stakeholders including the children and young people themselves, parents/carers, teachers, school staff, managers, and other agencies as well as colleagues in the wider Language and Learning Support Team.
What we are looking for in a Speech and Language Therapist:
* Be a qualified Speech and Language Therapist registered with the HCPC.
* Be a specialist with proven skills and experience to engage and deliver therapeutic interventions with children and young people with complex needs.
* Experience of supporting teams around a child or young person to ensure they are being provided with clinically informed living and learning environments and experiences.
* Be a confident, engaging and effective model, guide, leader, and trainer.
* Be highly organised and ready to take the initiative.
* Be committed to ensuring the best outcomes for young people.
Why work with Pulse?
* Knowledgeable, dedicated, and vastly experienced Permanent Team with longstanding professional relationships with multiple clients.
* Access to exclusive vacancies through our numerous Master Vendor trusts across the country.
* Vacancies outside of NHS Rate caps with our private sector agreements.
* Access to International roles outside of England and the United Kingdom.
