Utilities Coordinator
Location: Thorpe on the Hill, WF3 3DK (Between M1 and M62 junctions)
Rate: £350 - £400/day
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 12 months
Tickets Required: CSCS, EUSR or NRSWA, SMSTS (preferred)
Role Overview:
Balfour Beatty is currently looking for a Utilities Coordinator to join our team working on a major Highways scheme on the Central Reservation of the M1 and M62. This is an exciting opportunity to manage and coordinate utilities across the project, ensuring effective communication between the utilities construction teams and all relevant stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Interface with Utilities Construction teams, Design Managers, Coordinators, Temporary Works, Consents Managers, and other key stakeholders.
* Ensure designs align with project requirements, including integrating reasonable demands and specifications.
* Provide guidance on the alignment of assurance deliverables with client needs.
* Support the delivery of the design in accordance with the project programme.
* Work collaboratively with the delivery team to ensure readiness for the completions process .
* Facilitate communication between teams to maintain alignment with client requirements and project deadlines.
Qualifications & Skills:
* CSCS card holder.
* EUSR or NRSWA qualification.
* SMSTS certification (preferred).
* Experience in coordinating utilities for large-scale construction projects.
* Strong knowledge of Highways projects, particularly those involving central reservations .
* Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
* Ability to work proactively and manage interfaces between multiple teams and stakeholders.
