Role: Junior Group Accountant
Location: Yate, Bristol (3 days in office per week)
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 DOE
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday-Friday)
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Group Accountant to join our dynamic finance team.

The Role:
As a Junior Group Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of our company, with exposure to multiple business functions across several geographic locations.
Reporting
* Support the Group Financial Controller with month-end and year-end closing processes.
* Be involved in the preparation of management accounts for the Group subsidiaries and preparation of monthly consolidated Group results.
* Assist with the preparation of the Group statutory accounts.
* Provide support during audits and financial reviews.
Analysis/Insights/Commercial
* Provide support for financial analysis and project work - partnering with business functions to drive financial insights, process improvements, and more efficient working practices.
Controls
* Assist in the continued development of corporate governance procedures, risk management processes, and documentation of the internal controls framework of the Group.
* Develop Group accounting policies and processes in collaboration with the Group Financial Controller.
About You:
This role is ideal for dedicated and ambitious individuals looking to advance a career in accounting. It would suit someone who is either part-qualified or looking to start an accountancy qualification (CIMA or ACCA).

* Part qualified (ACCA or CIMA) or looking to start a qualification.

* Good understanding of accounting principles and practices.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver to deadlines.

* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Demonstrable experience in IT systems.
* Proficiency in Excel.
* Knowledge of audit processes (Desired)
* Experience of using accounting software (Desired)
