Location: This is a hybrid role looking after sites across East Sussex and West Kent so you will need to be able to travel in these areas regularly. Desk based duties can be completed from your local Southern Water office, or from home if preferred.

Salary: Up to £43,000 depending on skills and experience. A company vehicle will also be provided.

Following a successful career with Southern Water, our current Assistant Adoption Manager is shortly due to retire so we are looking for a new person to join our Developer Services team!
Our Assistant Adoption Manager is responsible for conducting inspections and offering advice to new home developers across East Sussex and West Kent to ensure that sewer systems are built correctly and are fit for purpose on new home development sites.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
1. Supporting Developers with a range of sewer applications (e.g. connections, adoptions, requisitions and diversions).
2. Conducting site inspections to ensure that work is being completed on time, with the correct materials and according to approved plans.
3. Speaking with developers to offer them advice and guidance when needed.
About You
We are keen to hear from candidates who are experienced working with sewer networks and drainage. This role will require site visits and you will therefore need to hold a clean, full UK driving licence.
Package
This role will be full time Monday to Friday with a hybrid approach to working.
