What’s the Role: Support Worker
An important part of the staff role is to support our service users who have complex needs to enable them to live as independently as possible. The ability to be resilient, to communicate effectively and to utilise a variety of communication tools is essential.
Our dedicated staff team support our service users to learn and develop their independence skills which includes tasks such as shopping, cleaning their flat, occasional help with personal care tasks, accessing the community, budgeting and a range of housing related tasks, which help the individual to maintain their tenancy.

Magherafelt Mental Health Service provides support to individuals recovering from mental health issues, living within their own home. The overall aim of our service is to promote greater independence, by enhancing life skills in areas such as problem solving, budgeting and home management. We encourage individuals to engage with the local community as well as other support services, to lead as active and fulfilled life as possible. Our staff team work jointly, to provide group activities, as well as individually, which encourages the development of their skills and experience. The service operates every day with a range of shifts available between 9am-9pm.

*£21,131 per annum pro rata
*Salary based on 39 hours per week.
