Tasks and responsibilities:
Main Purpose
Reporting to the Finance Director, the role encompasses the financial management for Gymshark operations in the UK, Belgium, and Australia. Key responsibilities include:
* Ensuring timely and accurate operational and financial performance reporting.
* Analysing reports to provide insights for improved decision-making.
* Collaborating with internal teams (Lutterworth, Rieme, local finance, and Cluster Directors) and external Gymshark teams (operations and finance).
* Travel requirements to Lutterworth (UK) and Rieme (Belgium).
Key Tasks
* Management Reporting:
o Timely production and analysis of weekly financial reports by site.
* Open Book Reporting:
o Maintain weekly client calls for cost reporting,
o Reconciliation of period-end costs across all geographies,
o Reconciliation and presentation of monthly open book financials.
* Budgeting and Forecasting:
o Work with internal and external teams to produce and analyse budgets and forecasts,
o Analyse client volume submissions against known comparators and challenge as required,
o Present and sign off, internally, the Peak phasing of client Revenue and Volumes by week.
* Work with internal and external teams to improve the visibility and understanding of financial and operational performance.
* Period-End Processes:
o Manage period-end processes, including P&L reconciliations for UK, Belgium, and Australia, and post journals.
* Balance Sheet and Transactions:
o Assist with balance sheet reconciliations and work with the Financial Accounting Manager.
* Capital Expenditure:
o Track and manage capital expenditure for projects.
* Promote and support culture of continuous improvement.
Profile:
You will either hold, or will be studying towards a formal financial qualification, such as - ACA, CIMA, ACCA.
Additionally, you will be:
* Analytical when dealing with problems
* Detail orientated
* Structured in your approach to work
* Able to convey information in a clear, structured and understandable manner
* Confident working with excel, to include manipulating information
* Commercially astute
