You could be involved in a wide range of interesting projects. You’ll have the flexibility to work from our bases at Halford House or City Hall and for home working. What you’ll be doing You’ll provide essential procurement and project management support, making sure every procurement project is delivered effectively and with accuracy. You’ll be using our tendering system to keep all relevant data, research and records accurate and up to date. You’ll be involved in liaising with and advising commissioners, to ensure commissioning reviews are undertaken, and service providers to respond to queries and request key procurement-related information. You’ll also be involved in planning the procurement process, preparing tender documentation, advertising the tender opportunity, compiling, and recording tender evaluation outcomes with accuracy, drafting correspondence and debriefing unsuccessful bidders, working with a Procurement Manager who you will support on this project work. What you will need You’ll be confident in working on your own initiative or as part of a team. You’ll have good time management skills and techniques to prioritise workload and meet tight deadlines. You’ll have the ability to work with a range of clients and colleagues at all levels, therefore, be a confident communicator, with a professional approach to both verbal and written communication. You’ll also need an analytical way of working and a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy. You’ll have experience of IT applications with extensive skills in the use of Excel spreadsheets, to be able to prepare complex tender evaluation schemes.
