We are recruiting for an experienced and qualified Toolmaker in Tredegar.

Working as part of the tool-making team, you will be responsible for the service and maintenance of all injection moulding and press tools on site.
Toolmaker Benefits:
Negotiable salary depending on experience, working days Monday to Friday (half day on a Friday), pension, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, life assurance, and free parking on site.
Toolmaker Main Duties:
* Support tool engineering in achieving all maintenance tasks on tooling.
* Demonstrate understanding of injection moulding tools.
* Carry out maintenance, health and safety, and environmental tasks.
* Demonstrate understanding of press/deep drawing tools.
* Responsible for the efficient repair and servicing of all moulds, jigs, fixtures, and extruded parts to maintain production requirements and standards.
* Manufacture spare parts, both to drawing and through means of using own initiative, by taking measurements of existing parts and making new ones to the same standard.
* Achieve the highest possible standard of polish on bought-in parts and moulds to maintain the company's high standard of quality required on all products.
Toolmaker Required Qualifications:
Must have undertaken a 4-year indentured apprenticeship.
City & Guilds or O.N.C in mechanical or electrical engineering is a benefit.
