This is a great time to join University Hospitals of Derby & Burton NHS Foundation Trust (UHDB). We are currently undergoing a significant period of change that will enable us to deliver an even greater service to our patients.
Our ambition to be sector leaders in new models of administration allows us to continue to absorb growing demand and significantly increase our digital capability, whilst improving patient experience, ensuring they are in the hands of our brilliant people.
As a trusted organisation at the heart of our communities, we recognise the important role we can play in supporting the public, patients, our own people, and local partners in achieving the best of health for the local population and the communities in which they live.
UHDB is one of the largest employers in the region. As an ‘anchor’ organisation, we play a wider role in society; setting an example in partnership with other large local employers across the public and private sector seeking to promote inclusion, raise the aspirations and prospects of young people, be a good employer and a major contributor to the local economy.
We currently have full-time vacancies within our outpatient administration at the Royal Derby Hospital. The role is 30 hours per week, Tuesday - Friday between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00.
You will have a background in administration or customer service, a good telephone manner, and attention to detail. Self-motivation and being a good team player are further attributes that we value.
You will strive to have the desire to work in the NHS to support delivering great patient care. You will be expected to work flexibly to meet the needs of our services, routinely on the same site, or wider if you would welcome that to further your experiences.
The experiences you will gain and the support we will give you for your personal development will help you to reach your full potential.
We know that you will thrive here, challenging your own ambitions with our fantastic career and learning and development opportunities. There’s lots on offer, and we know you’ll be impressed with our rewards and benefits package.
