East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust
Ipswich Hospital is looking for dynamic, motivated, and experienced nurses with acute hospital experience to join Stowupland Ward.
Registered nurses are a key part of our ward teams and support the senior team in providing high-quality care.
This is an excellent opportunity to join our friendly and busy teams who are motivated in promoting the delivery of a patient-centred, clinically effective, and dynamic service to our patients undergoing surgical procedures. We are dedicated to developing our staff, and there are various opportunities to continue to develop skills and a career pathway with the NHS.
Stowupland Ward is a busy surgical ward consisting of 27 inpatient beds. Patients are taken from our Surgical Assessment Unit and are managed predominantly under urology, general surgery, ENT, and head and neck specialties. We work closely with our therapy team to assess and re-able patients to provide safe and timely discharges. We also admit patients from Critical Care and work closely with the Critical Care Outreach Team to provide safe step-down from ITU to ward care.
If you have acute hospital experience and are committed to providing high-quality care, we want to hear from you!
