The opportunity EY GDS Content Center of Excellence is a fast-growing team of talented copywriters, editors, content strategists, thought leadership writers, technical writers and editorial managers. The team provides support for global EY publications and campaigns. As the Go-to-Market Content Leader, you will lead a team that excels in delivering high-impact, purpose-driven, on-brand content that helps EY win bigger and better in the marketplace. Within the EY Alliances Partner Ecosystem, you will work closely with clients, internal stakeholders, Alliances technology and business communities, and other teams on a day-to-day basis. A strategic thinker with strong business acumen, you can anticipate changes, identify competitive opportunities and lead transformational initiatives. You will set the vision for the team and build strategies to ensure exceptional service delivery, effective stakeholder management and efficient people management. You will also lead strategic, transition and transformation programs involving process redefinition and documentation. You will be involved in account planning and staffing/schedule modelling with multi-time zone service delivery handoffs. You will ensure continuous process improvement, skill and competency development and create career paths for existing team members while attracting high potential talent with niche skills to enhance overall team capabilities. Your Key Responsibilities Lead the Content Services CoE − Alliances team at India and Philippines locations Be a subject matter and skill expert across domains Ensure that the team adheres to market-leading content quality and efficiency standards in line with KPIs and SLAs Develop, maintain and promote great relationships and high levels of engagement with stakeholders Collaborate effectively with other teams, CoEs and Delivery Centers to enable seamless service delivery Be a trusted business advisor to the Alliances and CoE leadership as well as stakeholders Expand scope of services and boost team competencies Ensure compliance with EY branding standards Foresee possible risks, escalations and dependencies, and come up with suitable mitigation plans Manage all the escalations on service delivery within the team; resolve issues and challenges Mentor and develop a team of talented writers, editors, designers, marketeers, campaign managers and analysts Be the leadership SPOC for the team Strategize, build and execute plans to ensure long-term success of the team Maintain a culture of continuous learning and improvement Build a strong competency center to execute more complex content assignments Improve efficiency, quality and ROI through process excellence and automation Facilitate the recruitment, onboarding and retention of top talent Develop the team as a strong brand, thereby attracting high-potential internal candidates Ensure that all processes are documented, reviewed and refreshed periodically Maintain a library of documents and content templates Track, analyze and report the performance, time utilization and project deliveries of individuals and the team Build strong levels within the team for business continuity and succession planning Ensure headcount tracking and accurate monthly invoicing Skills And Attributes For Success Astute understanding of content strategy and principles, and evolving digital communications Awareness on trends, developments and best practices in the content space Exceptional organizational, project management, risk management and team management skills, and business sensibility Excellent communication (comprehension, verbal and written) and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and persuade Excellent organization, analytical and problem solving skills and ability to work in a high-paced multitasking environment with high levels of business engagement Ability to generate ideas and actions that produce tangible business results; innovative ways of problem solving Capability to understand opportunities that advance client relationships and build business Analytical skills to report KPIs and understand workflow trends, team utilization, spikes in volume and staffing requirements Capability to implement and manage initiatives to improve team productivity and efficiency Ability to assess skill and competency requirements for new assignments or to reassess support scope Strong interpersonal skills; outstanding spoken and written English Experience in managing multi-stakeholder research projects and reports Flexibility to team and work virtually High standard of integrity and confidentiality To qualify for the role, you must have: Proven track record of building, leading and developing teams in a high-growth organization An organic career track within brand, marketing and communications with management experience for the last 2-3 years A work portfolio of high complexity and global outreach, across multiple shifts and geographies Managed an offshored brand, marketing and communications environment with various experience levels (preferably senior/tenured team members) Practical working and review experience in content management, content strategy, writing, editing, creative design, digital marketing, campaign management and communications to ensure quality, consistency and alignment with EY strategy Experience in delivering strategic projects and initiatives Demonstrable facilitation and presentation abilities, reporting skills (general and dashboard-based) Cultural intelligence and a global mindset: the ability to effectively work across-borders with different styles, cultures, languages, time zones, etc. Other requirements: Academics Bachelor’s or master’s degree in English literature or mass communications Masters of Business Administration (would be an added advantage) Any content or creative/design certifications or portfolio that can be submitted for evaluation Experience At least 12 years of overall experience in a fast-paced a globally distributed matrix environment; of which 5 years in a service delivery lead role Technologies and tools Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Adobe Acrobat/PDF-XChange Knowledge in Project Management tools and methods What We Offer EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) is a dynamic and truly global delivery network.
