Role Overview
As a Sales Leader, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, leading the sales team, and developing strategic partnerships to expand our market presence. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of warehouse fit-out solutions, proven sales leadership experience, and a passion for helping clients optimise their operations through cutting-edge solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership:
* Develop and implement a sales strategy aligned with business goals to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
* Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team, fostering a high-performance culture.
* Monitor and analyse sales metrics to ensure targets are met and provide actionable insights.
Business Development:
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships and key accounts.
* Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers in industries such as logistics, retail, and manufacturing.
* Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and networking events.
Client Solutions:
* Understand client requirements and propose tailored solutions, including racking, shelving, mezzanine floors, and advanced automation systems like AGVs, AMRs, and ASRS.
* Collaborate with the technical and project teams to ensure successful delivery of projects.
* Provide accurate quotations, project timelines, and follow up on proposals to close deals.
Market Analysis:
* Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
* Develop insights to guide product positioning and sales strategies.
Key Qualifications and Skills
Experience:
* Minimum 5-7 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the warehouse solutions, logistics, or automation sectors.
* Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
* Experience in leading and managing high-performing sales teams.
Knowledge:
* Strong understanding of warehouse fit-out solutions, including racking, shelving, mezzanine floors, and automation technologies (AGVs, AMRs, ASRS).
* Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and safety standards.
Skills:
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
* Proven track record of building and managing sales teams.
* Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and seize opportunities.
* Proficient in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
