Position: Secondary Biology Teacher (Short-term and Long-term Contracts)

Teaching Personnel are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic Biology Teacher on behalf of a secondary school partner based in Northampton. This is starting ASAP or November 2024 'GOOD' rated school where staff and pupils work collaboratively to make sure there is an inclusive learning environment for all.
The team within the science department are constructed with a combination of highly experienced and newly qualified teachers, who welcome new staff and provide continued support and mentoring through your time within the department. The school are looking for a Biology teacher who can teach Biology across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.
Requirements:
- Full UK Qualified Teaching Status
- Experience teaching Biology across key stage 3 & 4.
- High level of subject knowledge in the Science curriculum.
- Experience with planning lessons and marking.
- Strong classroom presence and understanding of behaviour management.
- Enthusiastic and passionate attitude to teaching.
An ideal candidate will have:
• Excellent subject knowledge and proven track record of raising attainment and teaching Key stages 3, 4 and 5.
• The abilities and skills to engage, enthuse and challenge learners of all abilities
• The experience and ability to teach outstanding lessons
• To demonstrate high levels of ambition and optimism regarding what the Academy and its students can achieve
• The resolve to make a real difference to the lives of pupils

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
