Remedy Tutors are looking for Outreach experienced tutors, teachers who are looking for flexible and rewarding work with a rewarding schedule in Bromley and surrounding areas.
This Outreach tutor role involves:
* Working with children that may have SEN and providing face-to-face support to children at their homes or a local centre (e.g., town hall, library, or a centre);
* Planning lessons and resources around the student's needs, which could be in the core subjects or life skills;
* Planning and delivering engaging sessions;
* Applying skills to raise pupils' confidence;
* Managing children with challenging behaviour;
* Tracking the learning progress of the student to achieve their desired learning outcomes and providing monthly reports;
* Potentially engaging in outdoor activities such as learning about plants and nature with the student;
* Learning about visuals to communicate in some cases.
The work is fitted around your availability.
Experience working with students and a valid enhanced child workforce DBS are both essential.
