Job Description Are you an experienced leader with a background in fabrication? We are seeking a proactive and driven Workshop Manager to oversee the daily operations of our client's busy fabrication workshop. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a skilled team and ensure the highest standards of production efficiency and quality. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day operations of a busy fabrication workshop, ensuring smooth workflow and production schedules. Lead and manage a team of 15-20 Fabricators, Welders, and Apprentices, providing guidance, support, and development. Liaise with subcontractors, various departments, and internal staff to coordinate projects and maintain clear communication. Report directly to the Operations Manager, providing regular updates on workshop performance, progress, and challenges. Requirements: Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar managerial role, with a strong background in fabrication. Proficient in Microsoft Excel for tracking and reporting purposes. NVQ or equivalent qualification in a managerial discipline is required. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings is essential. Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage a diverse team in a fast-paced environment. What is on Offer Competitive salary of £40,000 - £50,000, dependent on experience. Working hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm.
