The salary for this role is £12.98 and up to £14.36 across selected locations within London.
No previous experience required, and full training will be provided.
About the opportunity
As a Boots Healthcare Sales Assistant you will play a key role within the team, supporting customers in-store with their health and wellness needs. You’ll be available on the shop floor, ready to assist and engage with customers providing them with personalised advice and recommendations on our products and services.
We will provide you with continuous training to help you develop a deep understanding of our health and wellness range, including an NVQ2 qualification in Healthcare.
Key responsibilities:
* Provide expert advice to help customers choose health and wellness products and services.
* Actively engage with customers and offer support.
* Represent the store as a health and wellbeing ambassador, keeping up to date on products and trends.
* Share your learning with your healthcare and pharmacy colleagues to help support the store’s overall customer experience.
* Guide customers to additional resources like Pharmacy Services, Online Doctor, or Boots.com.
* Build strong relationships with customers and contribute to the community.
* Refer customers to healthcare professionals, such as a Pharmacist, when needed.
What you’ll need to have
* Desire to learn and be comfortable completing a Healthcare Training Programme at NVQ2 or equivalent
* Experience working to targets
* Empathetic, approachable and able to interact sensitively with customers
It would be great if you also have
* Experience working within the healthcare industry
* Experience providing sales through service
