Super location, supportive team and a salary up to £65,000. Weston Super Mare Vets for Pets are looking for a talented, personable vet to join our friendly team in our well-established and busy practice.
About us
We're a family run, close knit team with many years of experience between us! Practice owners Wilbur and Brunhilda both have over 20 years' of experience and take real pride in their team and the supportive working environment they have created together.
Our experienced practice owners are on site every day and are supported by a team of experienced nurses and non-clinical colleagues with the whole team keen to help each other and get involved, holding regular practice meetings and clinical meetings too.
The practice itself is designed for more rewarding work. It's equipped to a very high standard and includes 3 consult rooms as well as boasting a dedicated colleague room and kitchen and separate office space.
The role
This rewarding position could both be full time or part time up to 40 hours a week with just 1 in 3 Saturdays (sole charge), no Sundays and no OOH ensuring you can enjoy an excellent balance between work and home.
In joining our team and supporting a great community and client base, we are looking for an experienced vet with a broad range of GP skills. We are lucky to have a varied caseload including cats, dogs, rabbits and small furries, so you'll be confident in all aspects of everyday small animal medicine and surgery.
As well as strong clinical skills, we're also looking for someone skilled in building strong relationships with patients and clients, as well as someone who thrives working as part of a great team.
