Maintenance Surveyor Rochford £43,647 - £45,944 per year plus Car Buyout 40 hours per week We have an opportunity for a Maintenance Surveyor to join our team, based in Rochford. The role is primarily lone working, within a team of surveyors and seniors covering Sanctuary properties in and around the area. Sanctuary Property Services provides high-quality and cost-effective property repairs, compliance, and installation services across the UK. The role of Maintenance Surveyor will include: Conducting thorough stock condition surveys and property inspections Technical understanding of the cause and remediation of damp and mould Providing expert advice on repairs and maintenance matters Attending and contributing to on site meetings Developing and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders Supporting the delivery of the cyclical programme Managing external contractors to ensure maintenance work is carried out in accordance with contract specifications and programmes Contribute to special programmes and projects Skills and experiences: To ensure full compliance with health and safety legislation, candidates applying for this role must be qualified to AssocRIC, MRICS or CIOB, Degree, HND or HNC in Surveying or currently undertaking the qualification Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proven experience in working with others to deliver property related works, including indirect reports and third-party suppliers Experience of working within a building, surveying and maintenance environment Working knowledge of legislations and best practice Ability to extract and interpret computerised information and documentation Proficient user of Microsoft packages This role will involve driving on company business.
