Your New Role
Working as part of a relaxed and valued team and company, in this role, you will be responsible for delivering essential bookkeeping and payroll services, following a clear, structured process. You will utilise technology to ensure efficient and accurate management of financial records, including the recording of sales, purchases, and out-of-pocket expenses, as well as reconciling control accounts and posting journals. Key tasks include routine bookkeeping, client year-end procedures, VAT return submissions, CIS submissions, and payroll processing. Additionally, you will support clients in making the most of their software applications and cloud-based tools, providing guidance to ensure they can effectively use the systems they require. Payroll duties must be completed in line with client requirements and reported accurately to HMRC, while CIS returns must also be filed promptly and correctly. You will oversee Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and due diligence checks for clients, conducting regular reviews to comply with internal processes. The role also involves advocating for the use of current and future systems, contributing feedback to improve workflows, and sharing insights with the leadership team.
