We’re looking for qualified Electricians and Electrical Testers to join our team.
What we do at BPM:
Provide high quality building maintenance to a wide variety of clients including councils, housing associations, commercial and private customers across Bath, Bristol and the surrounding areas.
What you’ll be doing:
* Inspection, testing & repairs of fixed wire circuits in domestic and commercial properties
* Producing NICEIC electrical certification in accordance with BS 7671:2008
* Reporting progress to Managers, providing certificates and documents within timeframes
* Assessing timescales & material requirements for extra works such as electrical remedials following inspection
* Carry out other electrical works such as rewires and installations where required
* Opportunities to work on fire & intruder alarms, door entry systems, floodlighting and other specialist works depending on skills and experience
What you’ll bring:
Essential skills and qualifications:
* 18th Edition (Level 3 Award in the Requirements Electrical Installations BS7671)
* NVQ 3 Installing Electrotechnical Systems and Equipment Diploma or equivalent qualifications/experience
* Strong communication skills
* Up-to-date knowledge of regulations and codes
* High attention to detail
* Great organisation skills
* Positive attitude
* Computer literacy
* Full UK driving licence
Desirable skills and qualifications (helpful but not essential):
* 2391/2394/2395 Inspection & Testing
* Level 3 Requirements for Maintenance of Electrical Equipment or any other electrical certification
* Gold ECS card
* Current CCN1/CMA1/CMA3 and MET1
* Experience fitting smart meters
* Mobile Elevating Work Platform IPAF certification
* PASMA
* Asbestos Awareness
* Any other Health & Safety certification such as Manual Handling or Gas Safety Awareness
