The company:
A regional developer specialising in bespoke developments producing up to 30 units on the larger schemes which are underway. Currently there are 4 developments under construction with a further 2 working through the preconstruction team.
The role:
As a Quantity Surveyor in within this organisation you will report into the Directors and be responsible for
Procurement of contractors (compile 6 tenders, analysis and award).
7. Implementing new commercial processes within the business such as standardised commercial templates, tender procurement trackers, tender analysis, CVRs, PRM meeting minutes, final accounting system, commercial policies, payment trackers, invoice management, PQQ
8. Working with the Technical department and external design Consultants to build preconstruction plans, works scopes, schedules and preparation of BoQ.
9. Managing the running variation tracker to accompany the final accounts.
10. Sign off variations and valuations.
11. Risk analysis.
12. Cash flow forecasts.
13. Monthly CVRs.
14. Package management (measurement, valuations & variations, payment notices, final ongoing accounting, negotiations and settlements).
15. Cash flow forecasts for each phase and monthly CVR reporting.
About you:
16. Previous experience in a similar or the same role.
17. Educated to HNC standard
18. Experience of residential development.
19. Be prepared to travel around the Southern Homes Counties along with Essex to visits sites.
20. Be prepared to work in the office for a minimum of 2 days
