My client is a Norwich based chartered holistic financial planning firm who have been providing advice to Norfolk and afar for over fifty years and you can become part of their success by supporting their existing mortgage team as an Administrator.
My client is considering both full and part time applicants for this vacancy.
Job Summary
To provide a welcoming, efficient, professional and effective client service with a high focus on quality and accuracy, adhering to TCF and Consumer Duty principles at all times.
Key Responsibilities
1. To process and manage mortgage cases from submission through to completion, undertaking research as required.
2. To communicate with clients and providers, responding to queries via telephone, email and post in a timely manner.
3. To ensure all client records and data are maintained accurately and efficiently.
4. To obtain and interpret information from providers, keeping mortgage advisers up to date with all communications.
5. To ensure files are fully FCA compliant by following internal compliance procedures.
6. To prepare client meeting packs.
7. To calculate fees, raise client invoices and chase outstanding fees as required.
8. The effective management of day-to-day work through the company’s workflow system.
9. To carry out other general administration duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
1. CeMAP qualification (Desirable)
2. Grade A-C or 9-4 including English and Maths
3. Previous experience in Financial Services
4. Understanding of FCA rules, ethics and financial regulations (Desirable)
5. Strong IT skills, MS Office Word and Excel
6. Excellent organisational and communication skills
7. Ability to work to deadlines
8. Good numeracy skills
9. Good attention to detail
10. Able to demonstrate an adaptable/flexible approach to work within a changing environment
11. The ability to work within a team environment
12. Great inter-personal skills, both written and verbal
