Responsibilities of our Debt Advisors
As a creditors meeting coordinator your job is to ensure you achieve the best possible outcome at the time of an IVA Meeting of
Creditors.
You will use an appropriate mix of technical knowledge, creativity and influencing skills as well as accuracy. The primary focus
of the role will be to ensure you are collating votes and data with a view to reviewing and contesting/negotiating where
reasonable. You will ensure all tasks are complete within regulatory time frames and parameters.
You will be responsible for
* Making outbound/Receiving inbound calls, emails, texts, post where applicable, to and from clients and creditors/voting agents
where necessary
* Proactively gaining trust from creditors and voting agents demonstrating robust and efficient, compliant practises
* Effectively maintain strong working relationships with colleagues and third parties
* Demonstrate through all your activity that you are client driven and are committed to achieving a positive outcome for our
clients, their creditors and the business
* Follow the department processes and seek guidance and support where needed
* Ensure your tasks are relevant to the process and helpful to the client, being mindful of needs and expectations.
* Support the company’s aim to provide top quality client care by engaging with those supporting you with training, mentoring and
coaching
* Always enter and update/maintain information accurately and professionally, covering all relevant details, ensuring ongoing
client care within and beyond your departments needs
* Maximise your own performance to achieve or exceed persona and team targets
* Remain aware of the purpose of your role and the part it plays in the overall client journey
* Ensure you maintain appropriate levels of technical and process knowledge highlighting concerns to your Team Leader for
support.
* Suggest change where you identify inefficient or ineffective working practises.
Key skills of a successful candidate
* A basic understanding of debt solutions would be an advantage
* Excellent communication skills both written and oral
* Experience in working effectively in a team and as an individual
* High level of customer care with a professional approach at all time
* Ability to prioritise workload experience in negotiation
* An empathetic objections and non-judgemental attitude
* Flexibility and positive attitude
* Attention to detail and making sure the case is compliant
* Strong decision making skills within parameters
* Problem solving skills and creativity
