We are looking for an exceptionally technically skilled, highly focussed, customer centred End User Computing Technical Specialist to be an integral member of our End User Computing Team within the Digital and Data department.
You will act as the Technical Specialist for End User Computing, working in conjunction with leads and managers within the technology sections, along with a varied list of internal and external stakeholders to deliver a modern, forward thinking, secure and robust End User Computing service within TEWV.
You must have the Right to Work in the UK in order to be successfully appointed to this role. Please note, this role does not meet the required eligibility criteria for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa and therefore the Trust is unable to offer sponsorship for this particular role.
Main duties of the job
1. Act as the Trust's Technical Specialist for End User Computing (EUC), providing a high and robust level of expertise, guidance and support.
2. Develop existing technologies and identify and implement future technologies to support the business.
3. Responsible for the line management of EUC Technical Leads and deputising for the EUC Manager as required.
4. Provide expert advice in EUC and guidance across a range of technology areas.
5. Provide specialist system support and expertise to maintain and develop comprehensive systems to deploy, monitor and patch EUC related technologies within the Trust.
6. Utilise in-depth technical knowledge of EUC technologies and demonstrate a strong technical knowledge of server technologies, both on-prem and in cloud, with a detailed understanding of networking principles and cyber security considerations.
7. Act as the technical expert consultant for highly complex technical technology projects that impact technical and clinical environments.
8. Operate under a high level of autonomy within specialty.
9. Lead in the production of accurate, highly technical documentation, implementation of new technologies, and road mapping of EUC strategies and developments for the Trust.
10. Assist and deputise for the EUC Manager across a range of information and technical service issues.

Job responsibilities
1. Current and significant experience of working within a technology team specialising in the management, redesign and implementation of EUC Computing Technologies.
2. Recent experience of staff management.
3. Recent and significant experience of the management of change through a robust change control process.
4. Assist and advise the technology managers and engineers across a range of EUC technology and technical service issues and risks.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Educated to Degree standard or equivalent or with equivalent experiential learning in a relevant informatics related subject.
* Microsoft Administrator Associate in EUC related discipline (e.g. MD-102, AZ-104).
* Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) 4 Foundation.
Experience
* Recent significant hands-on experience of delivering and supporting EUC Technology and Infrastructures in an enterprise environment.
* Recent experience in producing a range of technical documentation and reports.
* Recent significant experience of managing SCCM/MECM in an enterprise environment.
* Recent experience of managing technical staff.
Knowledge
* Comprehensive practical understanding of technical architecture in relation to EUC environment with strong consideration and experience of server and network environments.
* Recent experience in monitoring and reacting to cyber risks in an EUC environment.
* Demonstrable comprehensive and practical knowledge of a variety of EUC technical environments including associated cyber risk.
* Excellent practical understanding of technical change control processes, upgrade paths and release management.
Skills
* Strong ability to effectively plan, schedule and monitor own work.
* Ability to motivate the team.
* Able to communicate successfully with a wide range of stakeholders.
