Licensed Pharmacy Technician/ Licensed Pharmacy Intern – Per Diem
IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Pharmacist; Associate Director of Pharmacy

Pay Range: Band C ($20.50 - 26.00/hour)

YOUR ROLE & IMPACT
As part of a dynamic team at Charles River Community Health (CRCH), a healthcare practice providing compassionate care to underserved communities, the Pharmacy Technician/Pharmacy Intern – Per Diem will play a key role in assisting the pharmacy team in the preparation, billing, and dispensing of prescription and OTC medications to Charles River Community Health Pharmacy patients.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
* Provide exceptional personal customer service and accommodate patient needs in a timely, efficient, and caring manner.
* Assist in the preparation and dispensing of prescription medications while maintaining productivity as well as regulatory and quality standards.
* Maintain patient records and prescription information using a pharmacy computer system.
* Perform duties in an accurate, timely, knowledgeable, thorough, and complete manner.
* Answer telephone calls in a timely, professional manner.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS, COMPETENCIES, TRAITS
MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS
* Active MA Pharmacy Technician Registration, or MA Pharmacy Intern license.
* Demonstrate strong verbal and written communications skills.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Must be flexible and be able to work different schedules to meet the needs of the pharmacy and organization.
* Demonstrate competent working knowledge of pharmacy claims adjudication.
* Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Possess the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems.
* Must be organized and able to prioritize tasks.
* Must be adaptable, with a willingness to learn new responsibilities.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
* Certified Pharmacy Technician licensed by passing the National Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam or Current MA Pharmacy Intern Registration.
* Prior recent experience (1-2yrs) in a retail community setting.
* Knowledge of 340B Drug Pricing Program.
* Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
* Ability to travel to Waltham & Brighton locations in accordance with staffing needs.
