Working under the Attendance Improvement Lead, as part of the school's attendance team, we are seeking to recruit an Attendance Improvement Support Worker, who will be responsible for supporting a cohort of pupil premium students implementing strategies to improve their attendance. You will ascertain what the barriers to attending school are and put in place relevant support to remove these barriers. You will be able to assess problems and provide solutions by working closely with students and their families, often in their own home, and improve the links between the school and the home. You will also work alongside the attendance team to support with various attendance events. Excellent communication and time management skills are essential. You will need to be proactive, confident and have a resilient attitude. You will also need a full driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

This position is 41 weeks per year (term time, inset and two weeks during school holidays), 37 hours per week (.0921 FTE). Start time must be by 8:00am.
