Major Recruitment are looking to hire Furniture Frame Assemblers for our client based in Alfreton on a temp-perm basis Salary Shifts: Mon - Thu 06:00 - 13:50 Fri 06:00 - 14:00 Initial training rate of £12.50 per hour, rising to an OTE of £18 per hour based on piecework 39 hours per week Key Responsibilities: Assemble wooden frames for furniture using various materials. Utilize hand tools, power tools, staples, and glue to securely fix parts together. Follow detailed assembly instructions, blueprints, and diagrams to meet quality standards. Ensure correct placement and alignment of frame components, including legs, supports, and armrests. Inspect components for defects or damage, reporting issues to the team leader. Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety guidelines. Handle heavy materials and furniture components safely. Work efficiently to meet production targets while maintaining quality. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of frames. Perform routine checks on tools and equipment, reporting any malfunctions. Participate in training to develop skills in frame assembly, power tool usage, and quality control. Support continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting process efficiency or quality enhancements. Ideal Candidate: Hands-on, practical person with a keen eye for detail.
