Can you help us with our ongoing mission?
At Capability Scotland, our mission is to deliver the highest quality services, tailored to the individual needs of disabled people. We work in partnership to create innovative solutions which enable our people to achieve their goals. We put our customers and learners at the heart of everything we do and will make sure their voices are heard loud and clear.
We love what we do here and are looking to recruit Support Workers for our Glenrothes service.
The role – Support Worker
We are looking for an experienced Support Worker to support our customer who has complex disabilities to live independently in his own home and wider community.
You will be supporting him on a one-to-one basis; your day will include helping him with his personal care, dressing, medication, mobility, mealtimes and participating in his chosen activities for that day, such as fun community-based activities including going shopping, to the football, the cinema or having a giggle at our games or themed days.
What you need to know
Hours: Up to 17 hours per week on a 2 week rolling rota.
Don’t let concerns over experience or availability hold you back. We have several growing services across Scotland and are happy to consider any availability – apply now and see if we can work with yours!
Drivers preferred but not essential. While we welcome applications from drivers, we can consider non-drivers. If you do need to go out and about with our customer for that dinner and cinema trip, your costs are covered.
