We have an exciting opportunity for a Planning Policy Assistant to join us!
This is a full-time, permanent role with hybrid working, and a salary of £24,170 - £27,313 per annum.
The appointed person will be offered the opportunity to undertake a fully funded Town Planning Assistant (Level 4) apprenticeship qualification, provided they meet the specified funding requirements, which are as follows:
* Has Maths and English GCSE A-C (or equivalent)
* Does not already have a degree in this subject
* Has lived in the UK for at least 3 years
* Lives in England
* Is not currently in full time education

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Planning Policy Assistant to join our Planning Policy team.
The Role:
Reporting to the Planning Policy Manager, you will have responsibility for providing technical, monitoring and administrative support to the team, including assisting with planning policy consultations.
Your role will involve:
* Managing the consultation portal, updating the Planning Policy webpages and assisting with consultations;
* Collating data on new development for the Authorities Monitoring Report (AMR); and
* Managing the team’s email inboxes and responding to queries.
We are looking for someone who:
* Has experience of working in an office environment
* Has good written and verbal communication skills
* Is able to complete tasks accurately
* Has good IT skills and is able to deal with statistics
* Is able to work as a member of a team.
