Responsibilities
Operate refuse collection vehicles safely and efficiently.
Collect and transport refuse and recyclables from designated areas.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures.
Maintain accurate records of collection routes and refuse quantities.
Perform routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles before and after use.
Assist in training new drivers and provide guidance on safe operating procedures.
Report any issues or incidents to the supervisor promptly.
Requirements
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Experience operating heavy vehicles preferred.
Ability to work early morning shifts and flexible hours.
Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy loads.
Familiarity with local routes and neighborhoods is a plus.
Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and the public.
Commitment to safety and adherence to environmental guidelines.
