Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 depending on experience Location: New Mills, GL12 8JR (Global HQ, 20 minutes north of Bristol) Hybrid working: 1 day per week onsite (4.5 day working week, half day Fridays) As a Software Engineer at Renishaw, youll be responsible for the development and integration of software components analysing, visualising, and managing real-time data generated throughout the AM 3D printing process. Youll be part of our InfiniAM Software Suite team using Agile methodologies, DevOps practices and collaborative software engineering tools to develop software in C# (.NET Core). Youll gain specific domain knowledge and be actively involved in delivering state-of-the-art technology solutions. From time to time there will be a need to attend site to carry out certain tasks, and were likely to ask you to attend more often during key phases of projects. About the role Participate in the software development lifecycle: specification, design, and test-driven development, through to verification, deployment, and maintenance of software components. Collaborate as part of an Agile Software team, ensuring quality, timeliness, value, and requirements are at the forefront. Contribute towards continuous improvement and innovation of AM software projects. Through regular collaboration with domain experts and software engineers across a range of AM disciplines, establish a thorough understanding of the hardware and software ecosystem. About you A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, another relevant STEM subject, or demonstrable equivalent experience. Experience of developing C# components. Experience of developing WPF applications. Desirable experience Experience with C++, Cuda, DirectX, MATLAB. Experience with MS Visual Studio, ReSharper, Azure DevOps. Experience within an Agile development, using DevOps practices.
