Our client, a leading company in the Defence and Security sector, is currently seeking a Safety and Reliability Engineer to join their team in Hertfordshire. Key Responsibilities:
Influencing systems from concept to delivery, working directly with military partners
Balancing time and cost constraints to ensure the construction of convincing safety and reliability cases
Optimising safety assurance efforts while balancing the requirements of complex systems
Ensuring the effective delivery of progressive reliability assurance programmes
Collaborating with a team known for their strong safety and reliability engineering expertise
Engaging in diverse project work with opportunities for international collaboration
Job Requirements:
Detailed understanding of hazard analysis and safety evaluation processes
Experience in delivering safety case reports, hazard analysis, functional failure analysis, FTA, FMECA, and reliability predictions
Proficiency in reliability planning, analysis, and testing during development
Knowledge of UK and International system engineering processes
Understanding of complex electronic systems and associated safety and reliability issues
Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, capable of working in multi-disciplinary and multi-national teams
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ideally degree-qualified or equivalent experience
