We have an opportunity for a Geotechnical Engineer or Senior Geotechnical Engineer, ideally located in the South East, to support our portfolio of prestigious geotechnical projects both in the UK and internationally.
We need to expand our team to meet growing client demands, especially in infrastructure sectors (rail, highways, water) and energy sectors including carbon capture & storage, renewable energy, low carbon engineering, and nuclear power.

Requirements:
* A degree in civil engineering with postgraduate qualification in geotechnical subjects and close to or holding chartered status with ICE.
* Ability to develop and expand our geotechnical capabilities within a flexible and outward-looking team.
Candidates should have:
* A strong academic background with a relevant civil engineering degree, ideally MSc or equivalent.
* Experience in finite element modelling and analysis (e.g., PLAXIS2D/3D).
* Experience with numerical software such as Geostudio, Repute, Wallap, etc.
* Chartered or near-chartered status.
* Experience working in a fast-paced engineering consultancy environment.
* Project management skills and understanding of engineering consultancy and design markets.
* Knowledge of CDM Regulations in design and ground investigation contexts.
* Excellent interpersonal, technical, and leadership skills.
* Strong communication skills and client liaison confidence.
* Successful track record in negotiating and managing projects.
* Excellent report writing and self-checking abilities.
* Willingness to travel within the UK and overseas.
* A valid UK driving license.
