Leonid Group have been retained by a Top 40 Accountancy Practice in search of a Business Development Lead with experience in R&D Tax. You’ll be joining a firm with over 100 years of experience in providing accountancy, tax, and advisory services. With 31 offices across the UK, our client supports entrepreneurial businesses, third-sector organisations, and high-net-worth individuals, both domestically and internationally.
You will collaborate closely with the wider business units and have huge cross-selling opportunities, including with the hugely successful grant funding team, further bolstering our client’s presence as a leader in the innovation incentives market.
About this role
For this role we require individuals that have proven sales and business development experience in the R&D Tax market. You will be required to build a network from which to develop client opportunities. You will have full autonomy for your work and must have the gravitas and charisma to build your own portfolio. Exceptional communication and negotiating skills are a given as is a comprehensive understanding of the R&D Tax industry with demonstrable awareness to be able to give instant guidance to clients.
Responsibilities within the role
* A strong existing contact book within relevant industries
* Ability to run 360 sales process
* Ability to self-generate leads, as well as close leads
* Be able to deliver face to face/virtual sales meetings to C-Suite Execs
* Be a team player, collaborative and sociable
* Have an interest in innovation/emerging industries
