Job Description
Process the vehicle sales and purchase invoices
Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies.
Keep the sales ledger up to date
Provide cover for payroll
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely processing of invoices and payments.
General admin duties required within the accounts department
Analyse sales performance metrics, identify trends and variances
Develop accurate weekly and monthly data analysis
Support with the preparation and posting of period end journal entries ensuring accurate recording
Support with the VAT Returns
Support with the monthly management accounts and associated reports
Significant involvement in the year-end process, preparation of deliverables for the audit and key contact for the auditors during the audit process
Bank reconciliations
Person Specification
AAT qualified
Knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts
Strong Excel / Analytical skills
Proficient with book-keeping and accounting
Strong data entry skills with attention to detail
Knowledge of VAT and payroll
Use of DMS systems (Preferable)
Minimum 3 years’ experience within a similar role
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £36,000.00 per year
