Job Title: Traffic Management Coordinator
Location: Rugby, Warwickshire - and Some Site Travel Required

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)
About the Role:
Are you experienced in traffic management and passionate about ensuring safe and efficient road networks? My client is a Tier 1 contractor working within the highways and civils sector and is looking for a skilled Traffic Management Coordinator to join the team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, liaising with contractors, local authorities, and stakeholders to deliver effective traffic management solutions.
Responsibilities:
1. Planning, coordinating, and implementing traffic management schemes in line with project requirements and industry standards.
2. Ensuring compliance with Chapter 8 regulations and relevant codes of practice.
3. Liaising with clients, local authorities, and site teams to design and approve temporary traffic management plans.
4. Conducting site audits and risk assessments to ensure the safety and effectiveness of traffic management measures.
5. Managing traffic orders, permits, and associated documentation.
6. Providing technical advice to teams and resolving traffic-related issues promptly.
7. Monitoring project progress to ensure timely and budget-conscious delivery.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience in traffic management coordination, ideally within the highways or construction sectors.
2. Knowledge of Chapter 8 traffic management guidelines and relevant legislation.
3. TTMBC (Traffic Management Basic Course) and/or Lantra qualifications are highly desirable.
4. Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with multiple stakeholders.
5. Familiarity with AutoCAD or other traffic design software is advantageous.
6. A valid UK driving licence is essential for site visits.
