St Christopher’s is looking for a Caretaker who can:
1. Deliver excellent H&S, Caretaking and maintenance to multiple sites - You will help manage the maintenance and caretaking needs of multiple sites in Exeter, assisted by the Estates Team.
2. Be hands on with maintenance issues - You will be the first point of contact for all maintenance issues and will need to have competency in DIY and maintenance.
3. Work with a team - Reporting to the Site Manager you will be part of a small, passionate Estates team who work to create great learning environments in our 21 primary and infant schools.
4. Be responsible for keeping our schools safe and compliant - You will be based in Ladysmith Infant/Junior School, but will also divide your time over two other Exeter based schools as the need arises.
5. Take a lead and show initiative - Y ou will be a solution focussed, values-driven individual who is able to communicate well with contractors and staff. You will have a ‘hands on’ approach to maintenance tasks and understand the level of statutory compliance required.
