Accountabilities: How You Will Make an Impact
* As Management Accountant you will validate and amend, where appropriate, all project expenditure for their designated area and be responsible for the development of "Accounting reports" detailing performance / forecasting information for use by Senior Management and Directors.
* Analysing project costs, investigating variances to forecast and highlighting areas of risk.
* Working closely with project leaders to ensure accuracy of project plan and actual data.
* Processing cost accruals.
* Verifying projects profitability based on % of completion method.
* Providing support with timesheet.
* Generating monthly secured sales file.
* Generating budget and monthly forecasts.
* Creating Balance Sheet reconciliation files.
* Reporting to management and stakeholders, providing business partnering support to future business decisions.
* Producing financial reports related to budgets, account payables, account receivables, expenses etc.
* Developing long-term business plans based on these reports.
* Developing strategies that work to minimize financial risk.
* Working with the local (German and Danish) accounting/tax firms to ensure timely submission of the local financial statements.
* Providing required documentation and coordinating the year end audit.
What You Need to Succeed
* Part/fully ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified.
* Over 3 - 4 years experience producing management accounts from start to finish.
* Strong reporting experience.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Highly proficient user of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
* Experience using SAP advantageous.
