Job Title: H&S, Compliance & Training Manager.
Reporting To: Managing Director
Job Overview: To develop and oversee the Health & Safety Systems within the Company to ensure safe operation for all, undertake audits and ensure compliance by Company Staff. To audit, maintain and improve the Compliance systems within the Company to ensure accreditation status is always achieved. To oversee the training of all staff including identifying, booking and recording all training courses.
Health & Safety -
Act as the central point for Health & Safety within the Company
Promote, deliver and record Health & Safety Activities as required with the Organisation Maintain H&S Accreditation and Legal H&S Records as required.
Act as focal point for Risk and Method Statements through company – producing/ assisting where required.
Undertake Site / Engineer H&S inspections and maintain records
Undertake the raising, investigation, identification of remedial actions and closing of ‘Issues’ as they arise within the Company
Maintain records of Near Misses
Maintain the First Aid records and deal with all administration around Company accidents and RIDDOR reporting. 7
Compliance -
Maintain Compliance across the Company to prove competence in activities undertaken – ISO, SafeContractor, Altius, BESA, BESCA etc.
