Do you have the experience and skill set for the role of a SEN TA? This amazing opportunity has arrived and will require you to have a unique skill set and to be passionate and hardworking. We are looking for a SEN TA to work with a child in a lovely supportive primary school in Sheffield.
You will be supporting the child every day in lessons, ensuring they are supported. If you have experience with children with autism, please include it in your CV.
To be considered for this role you will need to:
* Have patience, as SEN pupils are likely to take longer than other pupils to understand something or complete a task.
* Have experience working with students with Special Educational Needs, in particular EBD, SEMH, or ADHD.
* Possess an up-to-date Enhanced DBS, preferably on the update service, or be willing to obtain one through ourselves.
* Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Have previous experience working in a similar role within a mainstream primary school setting.
* Be confident in managing challenging behaviours.
* Be adaptable and nurturing with a positive demeanour.
* Have the ability to maintain effective and trusting relationships.
* Always remain positive and give plenty of praise.
