In this role, you will create a tailored, engaging, and supportive learning environment that fosters achievement and inspires a love of learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the national curriculum, addressing the complex SEMH needs of Key Stage 2 pupils.
- Collaborate with class teachers to facilitate effective learning opportunities and promote positive behavior.
- Monitor and report on pupil progress and concerns, working closely with school staff to ensure all needs are met.
- Build strong, positive relationships with pupils to enhance interaction and drive successful learning outcomes.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Proven experience in teaching.
- Background working with pupils with SEMH needs in an educational setting.
- Expertise in behavior management strategies.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to learn.
- Must be willing to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check; existing DBS clearance on the update service is acceptable.
