Fitness Club & Events Manager - Sporting Facility in Kettering This fitness job is based in Kettering £30k We are looking for a dynamic and experienced manager to oversee operations at a state-of-the-art sports and fitness centre, which includes a fully equipped gym, swimming pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, and multiple sports courts. As fitness industry jobs go, this is an opportunity not to be missed Key Responsibilities of this exciting new role: Operational Management – Ensure smooth daily operations, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer service. Oversee scheduling, staffing, and facility management while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Event Management – Support with the exceptional operational delivery of events including tournaments, and exhibitions, ensuring all logistical and customer satisfaction needs are met Financial Oversight – Manage budgets, control expenses, monitor financial performance, and make data-driven decisions to improve profitability. Team Leadership – Recruit, train, and develop staff across various departments. Foster a collaborative and motivated team environment to ensure high performance and job satisfaction. Customer Engagement – Deliver an exceptional customer experience at all times including member feedback and striving to continuously improve services. Marketing & Digital Presence – Lead marketing initiatives, including social media management, promotions, and digital campaigns, to attract new members and increase engagement. Facility Management – Ensure all equipment, courts, pool, and wellness areas are well-maintained. Oversee maintenance schedules and liaise with vendors for repairs and upgrades. What we're looking for with the ideal candidate: Management experience in sports, fitness, hospitality, or sales (at least 4 years at HOD/ GM level) Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills Experience in financial planning, budgeting, and revenue growth strategies. Proficiency in management software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office.
