Your mission
To support the picture desk with image research and editing, contribute to the elevation of visual output on the weekly print magazine.
Key Responsibilities
1. Picture research and editing; sourcing current celebrity, news, fashion, royal and lifestyle imagery for the weekly issue.
2. Keeping up to date with celebrity news and trends.
3. Building and maintaining relationships with picture agencies, securing fees and exclusives.
4. Image licensing and agreeing fees.
5. Managing invoices and marks ups.
Your profile
1. Proactive individual with a passion for photography and an interest in celebrity trends, with an excellent eye for engaging imagery and design.
2. Equally happy working alone and with a team, and keen to learn new skills.
3. Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written.
Experience
Experience working as a picture researcher or editor, ideally on a celebrity or fashion magazine.
Qualifications
1. Experience working with picture agencies - FTP experience is advantageous.
2. Updated Photoshop skills.
3. Confident in working with social media.
4. Experience working online is preferred.
