Global Safety and Quality Team
Campden BRI provides global consultancy services for food safety and quality. Our specialists ensure that products are safe and fit for purpose. Food quality management uses tools, such as HACCP and auditing, to describe processes, analyze potential issues, implement preventive procedures, verify systems, and identify corrective actions.
Position Responsibilities
* Plan and execute technical delivery as guided by your line manager or team members, managing your own time to meet deadlines across contracts, training, and research projects.
* Respond to technical enquiries using information from relevant sources, providing consultancy and performing site audits/pre-audits.
* Present training materials as lead or support tutor on scheduled and client-specific courses.
* Design and develop training course materials.
* Interpret results and prepare client reports to agreed standards.
* Implement business development strategies to stimulate contract, training, and research opportunities.
* Prepare project proposals/tenders for clients as agreed with the line manager.
* Perform internal audits of the GSQ Department and sites as required.
* Provide support to the Global Safety and Quality Team Project Co-Ordinator and deputize in their absence.
Requirements
* A graduate in a relevant scientific subject or equivalent experience.
* Technical knowledge of the food industry (science and technology) across multiple food sectors.
* Proven experience in a technical or quality role within food manufacturing or food legislation enforcement.
* Practical experience with at least one industrial food safety management standard is advantageous.
* Formal qualification in HACCP, Level 3 is expected.
* Practical experience and training in auditing.
* Training experience at least at Train the Trainer level is desirable.
* Good verbal and communication skills to support business development, training, and consultancy offerings.
* Effective project and time management skills ensuring delivery and compliance with business practices.
* Full UK/EU driving licence.
* IT literate, particularly with PowerPoint.
