Job summary Wyre Integrated Network PCN are recruiting for a Receptionist to join their Enhanced Access team. The successful candidate will join a team of practices nurses, health care assistants, receptionists, GPs and ACPs offering evening appointments to patients within WIN PCN. As this role is a bank role the successful candidate will be required to work across the 4 practices within WIN PCN. 2 Poulton-Le-Fylde practices and 2 Thornton-Cleveleys practices. These include; Beechwood Surgery Lockwood GP Surgery Queensway medical Centre The Village Practice The Enhanced Access service provides out of hours appointments Monday - Friday from 18:30 -20:00. Patients are able to book these appointments through their GP Surgery. Main duties of the job Welcoming patients on arrival and arriving them on the Emis system correctly. Booking, amending and cancelling appointments. Ensuring reception desk is kept clean and tidy. Making telephone calls for sample collection. Supporting clinicians with any tasks needed, i,e. chaperoning. Dealing with patient queries and pointing them in the right direction if needed. Keep a check on the stock levels and ensuring all stock is in date. Closing down sites Ensuring all training is up to date. Ensuring all policies are viewed and read.
