This company is seeking an exceptional Operator to play a crucial role in their state-of-the-art production facility. As an Operator, you will be responsible for a variety of hands-on tasks, including: Preparing optical fibre for production Manually loading and unloading optical fibre assemblies Performing fine adjustments to mechanical alignment prior to processing Conducting quality assurance testing and recording data for finished parts Documenting batch data and creating labels Assisting with any other duties as requiredTo thrive in this Operator role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills: Minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent, including Maths and Science, with grade 4 (C) or above A or T levels preferred A minimum level of B1 in English (formal qualification not required) Previous experience in a Test Lab or Quality Assurance environment, including using a microscope (an advantage) Exceptional dexterity and the ability to work with small, fragile components Previous experience handling optical fibre (a great advantage) Ability to learn quickly and adapt to repetitive work Comfortable working with minimal supervision, while also knowing when to ask for help Proficient with standard IT equipment and software Previous experience entering data in ERP systems (an advantage)Why Join This Company?
