Position: Multi-Skilled Engineer
Salary: £56,800 per annum (inclusive of shift allowance) + Overtime
Shift: Permanent, Full Time - Mon-Fri 3 shifts rotating days, nights, afters
Based: Worksop, S81 7AY
Our Worksop site has exciting permanent opportunities for Multi-Skilled Engineers to join our great team – we have over 60 Engineers on site! You will be responsible for problem solving, reporting, and maintaining and improving a variety of manufacturing equipment across the site.
As a site, we are going through a huge period of growth – with £10m capex spend alone planned in the next 12 months.
Our site produces the nation’s favourite brands and products such as OXO cubes, Bisto granules, Batchelors supernoodles, and Homepride cooking sauces.

What we need from you:
* A minimum NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in either Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
* Time served Apprenticeship
* Sound understanding of Health and Safety Practices
* Experience in a dual-skilled environment (electrical and mechanical)
* A working knowledge of PLC, SCADA, HMI systems and control systems
* Food-manufacturing experience
* Experience of working with continuous improvement practices
* 17th or 18th Edition qualification
Shift: 40 hours per week, rotating on a 3-weekly pattern as below:
Days: Mon to Fri 06:00-14:00
Nights: Mon to Thurs 21:45-06:15 and Fri 19:00-01:00
Afters: Mon to Thurs 13:45-22:00 and Fri 12:45-19:45
What you will be doing includes:
* Fault find, repair, maintain and improve a variety of manufacturing equipment – we have four factories on site here at Worksop.
* Ensuring maximum utilisation of engineering equipment to achieve KPIs and optimal line efficiency.
* Implement maintenance activities, ensuring that the manufacturing team achieves full compliance with the production plan by minimising engineering downtime.
* Change the performance and efficiency of new and existing automated machinery through continuous improvement.
