What is Amazon Strategic Account Services (SAS) and its purpose?
The SAS Team aims to leverage the full potential of each Amazon Seller, helping them to navigate the increasing complexity of the eCommerce space. Our team provides in-depth strategic consultancy using a data-driven, collaborative, and customer-focused approach to achieve commercial goals of Amazon Sellers. Our holistic service offering includes topics such as international expansion, portfolio optimization, fulfillment strategy, product presentation, B2B sales, promotions, advertising strategy, and brand building. In parallel to this strategic support, Sellers also receive enhanced operational support by a separate team of operational experts.
What is the role of a Program Manager - Automation and the purpose?
The successful candidate will be a highly collaborative, high-energy, self-starter, with strong business acumen, and acute analytical skills in a fast-paced, data-driven environment, with experience working on automation projects.
As a Program Manager - Automation in SAS, you will have exciting opportunities to leverage technologies to drive scale and growth. You’ll be an essential part of innovating and transforming our processes. You’ll be taking the lead on the design and launch of new processes for our customers. You’ll also oversee processes that are already running and find ways to improve them leveraging Gen-AI, LLM, and ML technologies. Key Job Responsibilities
As a Process Specialist Lead - Automation:
• You are a part of the Central Product Team and work within the AI & automation team.
• You will interact with business teams, understand the gaps in processes, and leverage Gen-AI/ML technologies to plug the gaps.
• You will look at existing manual or automated SOPs and search for opportunities to derive insights and recommendations from the data presented.
• You will work with AI, ML & Automation experts and guide them to implement solutions.
• You establish goals aligned with business objectives and consistently report on goal progress.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or experience in sales or marketing work (like e-commerce, retail technology, SaaS) or equivalent.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of procurement and source to pay methods at small and medium businesses.
- Experience influencing at all levels within an organization, particularly at the executive level.
- Experience exceeding sales targets using a consultative, solutions-focused approach or equivalent.
