About the Opportunity
Lighthouse Christian School is looking for a passionate and dedicated full-time Upper Primary Teacher to join our team in Rockhampton, Queensland.

Positions required for immediate start.
Reporting to the Head of Primary, these roles involve delivering high-quality education to primary students, supporting their academic achievements, and nurturing their spiritual growth.
More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Teaching your year level with a focus on excellence in education
* Developing lesson plans that integrate a Christian worldview
* Providing academic support and mentoring to students
* Assessing and reporting on student progress
* Collaborating with colleagues to improve teaching practices and curriculum delivery
* Participating in school events, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities
* Supporting the school’s mission and values within and outside the classroom
* Engaging with parents and the broader school community to enhance student outcomes
About You
To be considered for this role, you must hold current teacher registration with the Queensland College of Teachers.
As the successful candidate, you will be a practicing Christian with a living and active faith, and you will embrace and share the Christian values and ethos, supporting the spiritual and community-focused mission of the school.
